We at Smooth Agent are proud to present a rare vinyl sampler of 3 very talented artists on this new Recruits EP. This is just a touch of of what you will expect from each of their 3 EPs.

Nebraska "Green Marimba"
If you know your deep house this is a talent should know. London native Alistair Gibbs AKA Nebraska has released various tunes on Down Low Music & more notably on the legendary Rush Hour Records. We must say that Green Marimba is one of his best works yet. It has already received support from Deetron, Soulphiction, Lars Behrenroth & DJ Koze. This is dirty Detroit House with african grooves. Be on the lookout for his Green Marimba EP by end of the summer.

James Blakstar John
Just an hour west of London resides another talent that is getting serious buzz. His Smile EP (featuring the vocals of Deon Lathan) on Whasdat Music has been getting a lot of attention from Aaron Ross (Radio One Extra), Osunlade, Karizma & The Ministry Of Sound Radio. With "Techers Untitled" James takes a much more deeper approach. A very big tune that will certainly destroy your dancefloor. Be on the lookout for his forthcoming EP featuring Deon as they bring you some deep soulful tech grooves!!!

Blaq Soul feat Cy "Down to My Root"[Original Soulful Mix]
For our 3rd recruit we thought it would be fitting to add another South African artist. He has release plenty of releases on his Blaq Soul imprint in South Africa. But keep in mind this is a much darker & rawer side of South Africa. "Down to my Root" is certainly no exception!!! It's a spaced out Dub Techno experience featuring a thought provoking vocal from Cy describing the ongoing struggle of life. Definitely a different side of the South African sound. His Zulu Ambassador EP will bring you tribal grooves with a techno feel.
